YUNUS SOCIAL BUSINESS CENTRE BASILICATA

Basilicata Region and Yunus began to work together in May 2016, during the establishment of the FAO-Nobel Alliance for Peace and Food Security. In July 2016, the City of Peace for Children Foundation approved the partnership with Professor Muhammad Yunus, FAO and Sviluppo Basilicata for the creation of the first experimental Social Business, agriculture and microfinance hub in Italy for the accommodated guests and the youth of the region.

YUNUS SOCIAL BUSINESS CENTRE BOLOGNA

On April 18^th, 2018, Professor Muhammad Yunus and Department of Management inaugurate YSBC to the Forlì campus.

The YSBCs act primarily as accelerators of business projects, often defining markets or financing their ideas through investment funds. Furthermore, they support the study and promotion of social enterprises already present in the area, amplifying their effect on the community.

YUNUS SOCIAL BUSINESS CENTRE FLORENCE

The Yunus Social Business Centre University of Florence (YSBCUF) is the first centre in Italy accredited by the Yunus Centre in Dhaka, founded by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus. The Centre was born in 2011 thanks to a partnership between the University of Florence, PIN S.c.r.l. – Servizi Didattici e Scientifici per l’Università di Firenze and the Yunus Centre in Dhaka. It is based at “Polo Universitario Città di Prato” and it is the result of the research and consulting job carried on in these years by ARCO (Action Research for CO-development).

YUNUS SOCIAL BUSINESS CENTRE URBINO

The Yunus Centre is present also in the Marche Region, precisely at the Law Department of Carlo Bo University of Urbino. It is conceived as a Department Center of research on enterprises issues and social economy.
